ELECTION 2022

We are seeking candidate statements from interested members who would like to serve on the Slighe nan Gàidheal Board of Directors.

Being a Board member involves attending 4 meetings per year set on a quarterly basis. We do occasionally have a special or extra meeting to review, resolve or discuss an important need for the organization.

Meetings are generally about 2-3 hours long, per Zoom format though we do have in person sessions when possible- such as our Annual Board Retreat.

The Board elects officers for Slighe from within the board members.

We oversee the running, planning and actions of the Slighe organization

We currently have three open seats.

We invite those of you who are interested to send your candidate statement to elections@slighe.org by 21, October 2022 for consideration and your statement will be included on the Ballot for the upcoming election.

Remember-only paid members can vote in the election and will receive a ballot. If you’ve not renewed your membership, please do so -so you don’t miss any of the upcoming events and Slighe news!
