Developing Gàidhlig Language Skills Through Story (online)

Sundays from 1-2:30pm Pacific Time, Rich shares a story in Gàidhlig, and participants collaborate in translating for each other. Afterwards, participants take turns reading through the story in Gàidhlig and translating - with Rich supporting us all the way along the path.

Stories might be historical, cultural, mythological, spooky, seasonal, hilarious, or even a combination of everything!

This class is a fantastic opportunity for Gàidhlig learners to practice aural comprehension, reading and pronunciation, as well as a great way to enjoy Gàidhlig storytelling together with other learners.

All levels of Gàidhlig learners are welcome; more advanced learners support and hold space for new and intermediate learners to challenge themselves.

Participants are encouraged to use as much of their Gàidhlig as they can in the class.

Along with each class, Rich emails out a copy of the story text and an audio file of the story so that you can continue learning and developing between classes.

The cost for Stories with Rich is $30 USD per class or you can get a package of 5 for $125 USD.
